Genetic Health Services Victoria run Tay Sachs Disease and related conditions genetic screening days. These days provide an opportunity to learn about TSD in a social, casual environment and discounted testing is offered.

Cost for Tay Sachs Disease Carrier Testing is $50 to be paid on the day (usual price is $100). Cash, cheques, Mastercard & VISA cards accepted.

Cost for full screen that covers the Tay Sachs disease and related conditions that affect people of Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry is $400 (including Tay Sachs disease) to be paid on the day (usual price is $450).

The full screen for Tay Sachs disease and related conditions is free for Year 11 and Year 12 students and for university students on presentation of their student ID card.
