Tay Sachs Disease and related conditions: Genetic Screening Day

Genetic Health Services Victoria run Tay Sachs Disease and related conditions genetic screening days. These days provide testing and an opportunity to learn about TSD and related conditions in a casual environment.

Due to changing technology we are no longer offering testing for any of the conditions on a single condition basis. We now only offer testing for the full panel of seven genetic conditions.

From our school program we have seen that 1 in 8 individuals tested for the full panel of 7 conditions are carriers of at least one of the conditions tested.

The next Tay Sachs disease and related conditions: Genetic Screening Day is:

When:

Sunday 18th September 2011

Time:

10am - 11:30am

Where:

Beth Weizmann Community Centre
306 Hawthorn Rd
South Caulfield VIC
